Managing Grief

Grief is a very difficult process. When one loses a loved one, i.e. spouse, parent, sibling and/or a very close friend, we all go through different emotions. From anger, sadness, lashing out, weeping uncontrollably, relief and/or guilt. With the recent loss of my own mother, I have gone thru several of these emotions. The biggest factor with managing grief is giving yourself time to process everything that has happened. Sometimes it may feel unfair or a blessing, however, it is important to give yourself space and alone time. It is imperative to take the time you need to take care of yourself. Take walks within nature, get plenty of rest and most of all, eat a balanced diet. Drinking
